Support. Safety. Health. Without Barriers.
The Commodore Club Youth Support Programs are built around a core belief: young people deserve to feel safe, supported, and informed—without fear, shame, or judgment.
These programs provide confidential, youth-centered resources that address real-life challenges, promote healthy decision-making, and empower young people to advocate for themselves and one another.
Violence Prevention & Reporting
Creating Safer Spaces for Youth
The Commodore Club is committed to preventing violence in all forms and ensuring youth know how to get help when something isn’t right.
What This Program Includes:
• Violence prevention education focused on awareness, boundaries, and healthy relationships
• Clear, accessible reporting pathways for concerns related to violence, harassment, or unsafe behavior
• Trusted adults and staff support to help youth navigate next steps safely
• Confidential handling of concerns, with youth safety as the top priority
Youth can share concerns for themselves or others. Reporting does not require certainty—if something feels wrong, it matters.
Sexual Health & Condom Distribution
Health Information Without Shame
In partnership with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, the Commodore Club provides free condom distribution and sexual health resources to ensure youth have access to medically accurate, judgment-free information and protection.
Program Highlights:
• Free condoms, available without cost or paperwork
• Discreet access, respecting privacy and autonomy
• Evidence-based sexual health education materials
• Focus on harm reduction, consent, and healthy decision-making
Access to protection and information helps reduce unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and misinformation—while reinforcing respect and personal responsibility.
Additional Youth Support Services
Meeting Youth Where They Are
The Commodore Club continually expands support services based on the real needs of local youth. Related programs include:
• Mental health resource navigation
• Peer support and trusted-adult connections
• Crisis response referrals
• Health, safety, and wellness education
• Support for youth experiencing instability at home or school
All services are designed to be approachable, confidential, and youth-led whenever possible.
A Youth-Centered Approach
Every Youth Support Program at the Commodore Club is guided by the same principles:
• No judgment
• No shame
• No barriers
• Youth dignity and autonomy come first
Participation is always voluntary, and youth are encouraged—but never pressured—to engage.
If you’re unsure whether a program applies to you—it probably does.
Community & Partnerships
These programs are made possible through strong community partnerships, trained staff, and a shared commitment to youth safety and health. By working together, we ensure young people have access to resources they can trust.
You’re Not Alone
Needing support does not mean something is wrong with you.
Speaking up does not make you a problem.
The Commodore Club Youth Support Programs exist because every young person deserves safety, knowledge, and the freedom to grow into their best self.
