At The Commodore Club, we offer a different experience for each youth, depending on what they want to get out of their time at the Club. While each youth’s day may look slightly different, here are all of the options available to them!
Games
We offer a wide variety of different games at the Club. From chess to Monopoly to Fortnite to NBA 2K20, we offer it all. Our youth are able to participate in games solo or with their peers, and doing this type of gaming often allows youth to get much-needed positive peer-to-peer interactions.
Snacks and the Food Pantry
Students are always able to eat during their time at the Club. We have a wide variety of food on-site for club members to enjoy. Our kitchen is open for no less than 30 minutes each day for youth to heat up food or water.
The Food Pantry is also open as long as the Club is open for youth to take food from. However, youth are NOT permitted to eat the food they take from the food pantry on-site, but instead should take it home.
Arts & Crafts
With a fully-stocked arts and crafts room, the Commodore Club allows youth to be incredibly creative. They can embark on sewing projects, create drawings, make jewelry, and so many other creative endeavors allowing them a space for safe creative output.
Classes
We offer many different educational opportunities for our youth throughout the year. In the past we’ve offered archery, cooking, jewelry-making, and many other exciting classes. There are many more to come, too!
